Concentrator
This User Manual will acquaint you with CAIRE's
VisionAire Oxygen Concentrator. Make sure
you read and understand all of the information
contained in this guide before operating your
concentrator. Should you have any questions, your
Equipment Provider will be happy to answer them
for you.
What is the Oxygen
Concentrator
The air we breathe contains approximately 21%
oxygen, 78% nitrogen, and 1% other gasses. In the
VisionAire oxygen concentrator, room air is drawn
into the machine through the air intakes. It then
passes through an adsorbent material called molec-
ular sieve. This material separates the oxygen from
the nitrogen and allows only the oxygen to pass
through. The result is a flow of high-concentration
oxygen delivered to the user.
Note: There is never a danger of depleting the
oxygen in a room when you use your Oxygen
Concentrator unit.
