• Click Check For Updates to check if any updates are available.
Note: Every time the software starts, it automatically checks for updates and informs
you if any updates are available. You can click Check For Updates to make the
same check manually.
• Click Choose Your Language to select a new language as desired.
• Click Cache Monitor to view the caching performance.
• Click Turn off write-cache buffer flushing to disable or click Turn on write-cache
buffer flushing to enable the writing caching function.
Attention: To prevent data loss, it is recommended that you click Turn on
write-cache buffer flushing to enable the writing caching function.
• Click Do not start with Windows to disable or click Start with Windows to enable
the auto-start of the Lenovo ExpressCache software when you start the operating
system.
• Click About to view the version of the Lenovo ExpressCache software.
Viewing the ExpressCache icon
After installing the Lenovo ExpressCache software, the Lenovo ExpressCache icon is
displayed in the Windows notification area. You can launch or exit the ExpressCache
application through right-clicking the Lenovo ExpressCache icon.
The color of the Lenovo ExpressCache icon indicates the current caching status:
• Green: The caching is enabled.
• Red: The caching is disabled.
