Foreword
This product is designed to meet the requirements of
the relevant directives. To maintain this status all instal-
lation, repair and maintenance work must be carried

if you require spare parts.
User instructions
The fume extractor reach is 0.87–.57 m (2'0"–5'2").
Wall mounting allows the arm to pivot horizontally
through 80°. For best capturing the hood should be
positioned as near the fume or dust generating process
as possible. On some models the hood is equipped
with a damper which can be adjusted with a lever.
Recommended air flow: 800 m
Noise level: 69 dB(A) with fan installed, measured ac-
cording to ISO 20.
WARNING!
The arm must not be used in environments where
static electricity could cause an explosion.
Mounting instruction (page 2)
The fume extractor is designed for wall mounting.
1. Ensure that the surface, on which to mount the arm,
is level. Use the wall bracket to mark the holes (a wall
bracket is available as an accessory, part no. 504035).
2. Fix the bracket with bolts to the support flange.
3. Fasten the fume extractor on the wall. Use vibration
secured fixing bolts and nuts suitable for the wall ma-
terial. Each bolt must stand a torque force of minimum
600 N (30 lbs).
4. Assemble fan or adaptor for ducting connection.
Weight: 2 kg (26.5 lbs)

Manœuvring and adjusting (page 3)
The joints of the fume extractor are already adjusted
for easy manœuvrability when the extension of the arm
is at maximum. With a shorter distance the upper joint
B may need a readjustment. The lower joint A can be
adjusted when necessary directly from the opening of
the hood, without dismantling the hose. The retraction
force of the balancer will keep the arm in the right posi-
tion when the desired range has been set. The retrac-
tion force can easily be adjusted with the knob C on
the balancer.
Maintenance (page 3)
(recommended at least once a year)
• Check that the hose is intact. Clean the hose if it is
dirty. If necessary, change the hose.
• Adjust the links.
• Tighten all the arm profile fixing bolts (*).
• Check the mounting of the arm on the wall.
