Deep well pump does not start or stops during operation
• Check the power supply or the circuit breaker and the ground fault circuit interrupter. If the ground fault circuit
interrupter has tripped, disconnect the deep well pump from the mains voltage and check for any damage (such
as power cord).
• The pump impeller inside the deep well pump is blocked by dirt. Disconnect the deep well pump from the mains
voltage, remove the hose and flush the inside of the deep well pump with water.
• The overtemperature protection has tripped. Switch off the deep well pump and wait until the pump has cooled
down sufficiently (at least 15 minutes).
Flow rate is lower or too low
• Check the suction holes for dirt.
• The deep well pump sucks in air because the suction holes are no longer completely under water.
• Check the attachment of the hose to the deep well pump.
• Check the hose for leaks or kinks.
• The more the flow rate decreases, the larger the delivery head.
• The hose diameter is too small.
12. Maintenance and cleaning
• There are no user serviceable parts in the deep well pump, so never open or disassemble it. Maintenance or repair
and the associated opening of the deep well pump may only be carried out by a specialist or a specialist repair
centre.
• Before maintenance, repair or cleaning, the deep well pump must be disconnected from the mains voltage. Pull out
the mains plug completely from the mains socket.
• To clean the outside of the deep well pump, a clean, soft cloth is sufficient. If necessary, rinse the outer surface
with clear water.
• Dirty suction holes can be cleaned with running water (e.g. with a garden hose). If necessary, additionally use a
soft brush (such as a toothbrush).
• Dry the deep well pump and power cord before storing.
Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions for cleaning, as these may
damage the housing or cause the product to malfunction.
