8 Temperature display
(indicates the set temperatures)
a) Temperature display for freezer
compartment
Press FREEZER" button
b) Warmest temperature" in the
freezer compartment
(press FREEZER" button first)
If display 8 flashes, the freezer
compartment became too warm due
to a power failure or malfunction.
When the Alarm button 2 is pressed,
the warmest temperature" reached in
the freezer compartment is indicated
on display 8 for five seconds.
Then this value is cleared display 8
then indicates the set freezer
compartment temperature" without
flashing.
Henceforth the warmest
temperature" will be redefined and
stored.
c) Temperature display for
refrigerator compartment
Press COOLER" button.

Note ambient
temperature and
ventilation
The climatic class can be found on the
rating plate. It specifies the ambient
temperatures at which the appliance may
be operated. The rating plate is located at
the bottom left-hand side inside the
fridge.

The ambient temperature must not, or
may only briefly, drop below the minimum
ambient temperature. Otherwise, the
freezer compartment will become too
warm and the frozen food may thaw.
Ventilation
The air at the back of the appliance will
heat up. This warm air must be allowed to
freely escape, otherwise the refrigerating
machine must perform more. This raises
electricity consumption. Hence, the
air inlet and outlet apertures should never
be covered or blocked off!
