The infrared beam has a wavelength of 850nm. IR
illuminators are assembled with stainless steel screws
and O rings which guarantee a IP66 weatherproof
standard.
Lamps with different light beams (spot, flood, wide
flood) are available.
They're recommended for military surveillance,
perimeter surveillance, airports and prisons.

5 Preparing the product
for use
h g Any change that is not expressly approved
by the manufacturer will invalidate the
guarantee.
5.1 Contents and unpacking
When the product is delivered, make sure that the
package is intact and that there are no signs that it
has been dropped or scratched.
If there are obvious signs of damage, contact the
supplier immediately.
Keep the packaging in case you need to send the
product for repairs.
Check the contents to make sure they correspond
with the list of materials as below:
• IR50/IR300 infrared illuminator and bracket
• Instructions manual
5.2 Safely disposing of
packaging material
The packaging material can all be recycled. The
installer technician will be responsible for separating
the material for disposal, and in any case for
compliance with the legislation in force where the
device is to be used.
Bear in mind that if the material has to be returned
due to a fault, using the original packaging for its
transport is strongly recommended.

6 Assembling and
installing
Disconnect the power supply before

proceeding with any operation, unless
indicated otherwise.
l g The spotlight casing also acts as a heat
dissipater, therefore it can reach very high
temperatures; install in inaccessible areas.
Do not place any object in the IR 300W
enlighted area for a lower distance than
10cm.
Infrared light is not visible with the naked
h g
eye, but long term exposure at close
quarters can cause severe damage to
the retina; only use the spotlight when
necessary.
h g Only specialised personnel should be
allowed to assemble and install the device.
6.1 Assembly
j g The 300W illuminators are supplied
complete and ready to install.
In the other spotlight models the bulb needs to be
assembled on the bulb socket (bayonet-type for IR
50W, 230V).
To do this remove the front by unscrewing the
screws and insert the contacts of the bulb into
the bulb socket seats. After this, replace the front
using the screws, making sure that the seal is in
the correct position.
6.2 Installation
The spotlights can be wall mounted or assembled
on any type of support, so long as it is sturdy
enough. To assemble, fix the illuminator bracket
using a robust M8x6mm screw. Adjust the slant
of the luminous beam using the side screws, then
tighten the side locking screws.
