Fuse
The correct fuse type is:
1.6 A 250V HRC time-lag, 20mm for 220-240V
3.15A 250V HRC time-lag, 20mm for 110-120V
3.15A 250V HRC time-lag, 20mm for 220-240V
6.3 A 250V HRC time-lag, 20mm for 110-120V
Make sure that only fuses with the required rated current and of the specified type are used for
replacement. The use of makeshift fuses and the short-circuiting of fuse holders is prohibited.
Mains Lead
When a three core mains lead with bare ends is provided this should be connected as follows:
When fitting a fused plug a 3 amp fuse should be fitted inside the plug. As the colours of the
wires in the mains lead of this apparatus may not correspond with the coloured markings
identifying the terminals in your plug proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured green-and-yeilow must be connected to the terminal in the plug which
is marked by the letter E or by the safety earth symbol
The wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter
N or coloured blue or black.
The wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter L or coloured brown or red.
Any interruption of the mains earth conductor inside or outside the instrument will make the
instrument dangerous. Intentional interruption is prohibited.
