6.2. If the problem is not solved, go through the following list of possible problems:
Problem
You hear a negative tone on the
external unit.
The image on the internal video
unit is not clear.
No image appears on the internal
video unit. Other functions are
working properly.
6.3. Replacing the external unit
All programmed data such as serial numbers and parameters are stored in the EEPROM. If the external unit needs to be replaced, the EEPROM storage can be
removed from the programmed external unit and installed into the new, comparable external unit. This is done as follows:
1. Open the housing.
2. Disconnect the display from the power supply: pull off the connection socket.
3. The EEPROM storage is located in the electronic part of the display module. Remove the EEPROM storage.
4. Click the EEPROM into the new external unit (display module).
Ensure that the electronic components are aimed towards you when placing the EEPROM.
5. Reconnect the external unit to mains voltage.
6. The data is automatically copied onto the EEPROM.
7. If the data transfer was unsuccessful, hold down all 3 smart keys at once until the device restarts (after approx. 10 s).

Cause
There is an error in the programming.

Conductors V1 and V2 have been reversed.
Incorrect cable:
• cable distance is too great;
• cable cross-section is too small;
• cable is not a twisted pair cable.
The wiring is not correctly configured:
• M or P is missing;
• V1 or V2 is not connected.

Delete the programming and perform again.
Exit programming mode.
Check the wiring.
Reverse conductors V1 and V2.
Replace the current cable with a suitable cable.
