Setting the terminator
Set the TERMINATOR switch as follows, depending
on whether or not you will connect the SCSI OUT
connectors of this unit to another disk unit.
• No connection to another disk unit: ON
• Connection to another disk unit: OFF

The figure below shows the DIP switch settings for a
chain of four disk units. Set the TERMINATOR
switch to ON only for the disk unit farthest from the
ES-7, and set it to OFF for all other disk units.
