Installation Software Installation The HiFD driver software must be installed from the installation CD-ROM before the drive can be used. Installing with Windows Make sure the HiFD drive is not connected, then turn on the PC. After the system boots up on your PC, insert the supplied installation CD-ROM in the PC’s CD-ROM drive. - Seite 13 Choose the language of operation, then follow the on- screen instructions. When installation is complete, remove the installation CD- ROM. Reboot the PC. After the PC has rebooted, connect the HiFD drive and the PC using the USB cable. (For the connection method, see page 15.) All necessary devices are installed automatically, then the HiFD drive is ready to use.
