Basic Operator Panel (BOP)

It provides access to the Inverter parameters, shown in a 5-digit LCD display, and allows for setting the parameters for specific uses.
The buttons of the panel and their functions are described below.

Function
The (5-digit) LCD shows current settings used by Inverter or used for setting the

Inverter parameters.
Pressing this button starts the motor. With the factory setting, this button is enabled
Motor start
for manual operation.
OFF1 Pressing this button stops the motor with the selected deceleration ramp. With
the factory setting, this button is enabled for manual operation.
Motor stop OFF2 Pressing this button twice (or just once but holding it down longer) causes the
motor inertial deceleration until it stops altogether. This function is enabled for
manual and automatic operating modes.
Pressing this button while the motor is running causes input logic to switch so that the
operator takes control of the Inverter. That way, none of the controlled variables have

any effect on the Inverter commands.
In automatic mode, all inputs and outputs are set to represent variables depending on
the system. No manual command will be accepted.
matic mode The Inverter will respond to variations according to how its parameters are set.
At any time, you can switch the system parameters to manual mode.
This button can be used to view additional information.
Multiple display mode
When this button is pressed and held down for 2 seconds with the display showing
any parameter during operation, the following information is displayed:
Intermediate circuit DC voltage (indicated from d - units V).
Output current (A).
Output frequency (Hz).
Output voltage (indicated from o - units V).
Functions
The value selected in parameter P0005 (if P0005 is set to display one of the above
values (1 to 4), then this will not be displayed again).
Every time the button is pressed again, the above readings will be displayed alter-
nately. Hold the button down again to exit the multiple display mode.
Skip function With the display showing any parameter (rXXXX or PXXXX), press the
Fn button and release it straight away to skip directly to r0000. When so required, any
other parameter can be edited. From r0000, press the Fn button again to go back to
where you started.
Press this button to:

1. gain access to parameters;

2. exit the parameter, confirming the choice made.
Pressing this button increases the value displayed. This button can be used to
increase the current value while setting the parameters.
Increase value
In manual mode, this button can be used to increase speed (potentiometer inside the
motor).
Pressing this button decreases the value displayed. This button can be used to
decrease the current value while setting the parameters.
In manual mode, this button can be used to decrease speed (potentiometer inside the
motor).
