Garanzia
La garanzia per vizi o difetti accordata da Claus copre i prodotti e le singole
parti di questi per un periodo di 2 ( due ) anni dalla data di fatturazione. La
garanzia è valida a patto che l'acquirente abbia soddisfatto le condizioni di
pagamento pattuite. Eventuali dilazioni dovranno essere pattuite.
La garanzia di buon funzionamento degli apparecchi accordata da Claus, si
intende nel senso che la stessa si impegna a riparare o sostituire gratuitamente,
nel più breve periodo di tempo possibile, quelle parti che dovessero guastarsi
per difetto di costruzione o vizio di materiale durante il periodo di garanzia.
L'acquirente non può vantare diritti e alcun risarcimento per eventuali danni o
altre spese.
Sono escluse dalla garanzia le parti fragili o esposte a naturale usura come
pure ad agenti o procedimenti corrosivi, sovraccarichi anche solo temporanei,
ecc...
Le riparazioni in garanzia sono sempre da intendersi " franco fabbrica produt-
tore ". ( per paesi esteri, rivolgersi al rivenditore esclusivista ).
Le spese di trasporto relative ( andata/ritorno) sono sempre a carico del mit-
tente.
Per eventuali sopralluoghi di personale specializzato resta a carico di Claus il
costo della mano d'opera, ma debbono essere rimborsate le spese di locomo-
zione ( andata/ritorno), le ore di viaggio e le spese di vitto e alloggio.
Qualsiasi riparazione deve essere fatta da personale autorizzato da Claus. ( per
paesi esteri, rivolgersi al rivenditore esclusivista ).
Per servirsi della garanzia si dovrà inviare reclamo scritto a Claus indicando la
causa del presunto difetto e i dati riportati sulla targhetta di identificazione del
motore. (per paesi esteri, rivolgersi al rivenditore esclusivista).
Limiti della garanzia
Prima di installare e utilizzare il motore è obbligatorio che l'installatore e
l'utilizzatore leggano e comprendano in tutte le sue parti il presente
manuale. Il presente manuale è parte integrante del motore e deve obbliga-
toriamente essere conservato per futuri riferimenti.
La garanzia del motore decade qualora l'impiego dello stesso non sia conforme
alle istruzioni e norme descritte nel presente manuale e qualora vengano uti-
lizzati componenti, accessori, ricambi e sistemi di comando non originali.
L'installazione del motore può essere eseguita esclusivamente da personale tec-
nico competente e qualificato in possesso dei requisiti tecnico professionali
previsti dalla legislazione vigente nei paesi di installazione.
L'utilizzazione del motore può essere eseguita esclusivamente da un utilizzato-
re che agisca in conformità delle istruzioni del presente manuale e/o delle
istruzioni del dispositivo di comando del motore ( es. centrali TF21/TF24 ).
Claus declina ogni responsabilità per eventuali danni a persone, animali e cose,
causate dall'inosservanza delle norme descritte nel presente manuale .
Le istruzioni di montaggio non sono state applicate.
I prodotti sono stati destinati ad usi diversi da quelli per cui sono stati conce-
piti.
Uso improprio o errate operazioni sul prodotto.
Gli accessori elettrici sono stati utilizzati senza rispettare il manuale di istruzio-
ne e i tipi di collegamento per i quali sono stati concepiti.
Danni provocati dalla movimentazione del prodotto.
Il prodotto è stato aperto, smontato o reso con segni evidenti di urto o altro.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION: CAREFULLY READ THE FOLLOWING SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS,
BEFORE ASSEMBLING THIS EQUIPMENT, IN ORDER TO PREVENT ELECTRICAL
SHOCKS, INJURY AND OTHER DANGERS.
PLEASE, KEEP THIS MANUAL WITH YOU.
The C20 motor is conceived for the opening and closing of CLAUS windows.
Do not forget that during mounting and unsetting operations the window can
move, bangings may cause knacks or breaking-off of the window frame.
• Installation must be carried out by qualified and expert technical personnel.
• After the packaging removal, make sure that the equipment has not been
damaged.
• Plastic bags, polystyrene, nails, etc. must be kept out of reach of the children,
as they are a potential source of danger.
• Before connecting the motor, verify that your supplied voltage corresponds to
the equipment voltage, indicated on the technical data label, which is applied
on it.
• This equipment must only be used for the purpose for which it has been built.
The manufacturer cannot be considered liable against any damage or problem,
arising from the misuse.
• Installation must be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's
instructions. The non-observance of these instructions may compromise the
safety.
• Caution: danger of squeezing or pulling. While closing the window, the
actuator pulls the ledges with a force more than 200N, and this pressure is
quite enough to press your fingers if no attention is paid for.
• Caution: upon the window frame, the wind load may rest on the window, and
in particular situations, it may also be overloaded by the weight of the snow.
• Caution: each window frame can support just one shutter.
• Electrical power supply, must respect the regulations in force.
• To grand an effective separation between the net and the equipment,
upstream the appliance, an approved bipolar differential temporary switch
(push-button) must always be installed. Upstream the command line, a general
feed omnipolar differential switch, with an opening distance of at least 3 mm
from the contacts must be installed.
• Do not wash the motor with solvents or water jets. Do not plunge the
appliance into the water.
• Caution: in case of fault, or bad-working, turn the equipment off, disconnect
it from the power supply and call the customer service.
• Repairs must be carried out only by qualified personnel from a service
organization, which is authorized by the manufacturer.
• Do always request only original spare parts. The non-observance of the above
mentioned warnings, may compromise the safety and it will cancel the benefits
related to the guarantee of the equipment.
• In case of any problem or doubt, contact your reliable dealer.
ACCESSORIES AND EQUIPMENT
Each C20 actuator package is supplied with
• 1 Window frame connecting tag. (A)
• 2 Actuator support side stirrups (B)
• 1 Quick release (C)
• 4 Cylindrical top wooden screws Ø 4,5x30 (E)
• 2 Opened top wooden screws Ø 4,5x30 (F)
MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS.
In order to grant the actuator's best performances, mounting and
electrical connections must be worked out by skilled experts.
Before mounting the actuator, make sure that the following main
instructions have been respected:
• Actuator's performances must be enough to move the window frame, do not
pass over the limits, shown into the section dedicated to the product's
technical data.
• Make sure that the actuator did not suffer any damage during the transit
• CAUTION: make sure that the actuator is equipped with the required electrical
supply, and attention to the data reported into the label and the supplying
cable (3 electrical wires =230V a.c. - 2 electrical wires = 24V d.c.)
MOUNTING OPERATIONS
Unset the handle from the window frame, together with its bracket.
Place the plate (A) in such a way to cover the holes still visible after the
removal of the handle and fix it by sinking the two grip pawls into the wood.
Warning! Make sure that all parts of the plate adhere to the shutter.
Using the existing holes on the plate (A), screw the quick release.
Make the chain terminal snap inside the quick release.
Place the support brackets (B) sidewise the actuator; before fixing the screws
(E) mark the position with a pencil, the right position.
Fix the brackets (B) with the screws 4,5 X30 (E): 2 screws in two out of four
holes and two in the two central holes.
CAUTION: before fixing the screws, make sure that the actuator is perfectly
aligned with bracket, and verify that the last one is in a stroke position with
the template. In this way, when the window is closed the gaskets will be
squeezed.
