such as BVW-40/40P, is connected, set the switches as
follows:
EXT/INT: INT
SLAVE LOCK/PRESET: PRESET
FREE RUN/REC RUN: FREE RUN

Turn the power on. Set the
INPUT SELECT switch so
that the picture from the VTR
can be monitored.
AUDIO LEVEL controls
Before editing, set the player
in the playback mode and
adjust the audio recording
level of the recorder.
VIDEO LEVEL control
Before editing, set the player
in the playback mode and
adjust the video recording
level of the recorder.
TRACKING control
Set the
POWER
Before editing adjust this
switch ON.

When the VTR having a function to read a VITC is
connected, set the switch as it can read both a VITC
and a LTC. (If the VTR has a VITC/AUTO selector,
set the selector to AUTO.)
