Install your door/window detector (without associated glass break

sensor):
inside your home,
G
on the main entrances (front door, terrace,...),
G
on the hidden entrances (skylights, garage doors),
G
high up (approx. 2 m),
G
with the magnet preferably on the door or window leaf,
G
with the transmission box preferably on the frame (fixed part),
G
as far away as possible from the hinges of the protected door or window. Even the
G
slightest opening will thus be detected.
Install your door/window detector (with associated glass break

sensor):
inside your home,
G
on the panes of the main entrances (windows, French windows, fanlights, etc...),
G
with the glass break sensor stuck in one of the four corners of the pane,
G
high up if possible,
G
with the transmission box on the moving part of the window,
G
with the magnet on the fixed part of the window,
G
as far away as possible from the hinges of the protected entrance. Even the sligh-
G
test opening will thus be detected.
NB: you MUST fix the magnet, even if the glass break sensor only is used.
Do not install your door/window or door/window and glass break
I
detector:
with a distance of more than 5 mm between the magnet and the transmission box,
G
directly on a metal surface.
G
NB: if you place the detector on a metal door or window, you must first place a
2 cm thick wooden or plastic wedge beneath the transmission box. Use the wedges
supplied to adjust the level of the magnet.
