SETTINGS IN THE MAIN PRODUCT

You can connect up to eight RMU S40 to each climate
system. If you connect more than three units to the
main product, these must have an external power sup-
ply.
Adjust the basic settings for each RMU S40 in the main
product. In order to determine more easily the room in
which RMU S40 is located, you can give each room unit
a unique name.
INSTALLATION OF RMU S40
In order to give RMU S40 a unique name in the main
product, it must first be allocated an address, a number
(1 – 8):
1. Select an address for RMU S40 by allocating it a
unique number (1 – 8) in its "Installation" menu.

for accessories".
3. If you have several RMU S40, select which
RMU S40 is to control which climate system in the
main product's menu 7.2.24 – "RMU S40 (RMU)".

See the Installer Manual for the main product.
Caution
If you have allocated your RMU S40 an ad-
dress, you will see a pop-up menu in which
you have to allocate each room unit a number
(1 – 8).

POP-UP MENU
If there is no communication with the main product, a
pop-up menu appears containing the following informa-
tion and settings.
"RMU S40 has no communication with your installation.
Please check the selected address and adjust if neces-
sary."
Choice of address: RMU S40 1 – 8.
