To ensure maximum accuracy of test results, always use the reagent
systems supplied by the instrument manufacturer.

5.1 Operating messages

Important:
Water must not be allowed to enter the measurement compartment.
Soiling of the optical system results in false measurement results. Check at regular inter-
vals and clean if necessary (moist paper towels, cotton swabs).
Large differences in temperature between the instrument and the ambient conditions may
result in false measurement results
Measuring range exceeded or excessive turbidity
Result below the lowest limit of the measuring range
Replace 9-V battery, no further tests possible
Battery capacitiy is too low for the display backlight; measurement is still
possible
