• After dispensing coffee, wait at least ten seconds before removing the filter holder, which must be
taken out slowly to prevent water or coffee splashes.
• The metal parts on the appliance exterior and filter holder must never be touched while the appli-
ance is operating since they are a potential cause of scalding.
• Never place anything except ground coffee into the filter; this could lead to serious damage to the
appliance.
• Only ever use containers made in material "for foods".
• Never use sparkling (carbonated) water.
• Do not wash attachments in a dishwasher.
• Never add de-scaling, aromatic, alcohol-based or cleansing products to the inside of the appliance
as they could cause damage.
• In the event of failures, faults, defects or suspected defects subsequent to a fall, unplug the appli-
ance immediately. Never use a faulty appliance. REPAIRS MAY ONLY BE CARRIED OUT AT AN
AUTHORISED ASSISTANCE CENTRE. No liability will be accepted for damage caused by incorrectly
performed repairs..
• To prevent any risks, if the power cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
Technical Assistance Service, or a similarly qualified person.
