Troubleshooting

Faulty single lever mixer
Leakage
Drips from the spout or the lever
attachment when the mixer is
turned off.
Leakage between the mixer body
and spout, applies only to low
spout mixers.
Leakage in the dishwasher/
washing machine diverter.
Leakage from spout connection:
Function
The mixer produces too little water.
The lever is stiff/loose.
Faulty thermostatic mixer
Leakage
Leakage from the bath spout/
shower when the mixer is turned
off.
Function
Inadequate flow/temperature
Only gives cold or hot water.
The mixer does not respond to
temperature setting.
Possible cause
Defective cartridge.
Worn/damaged seals.
Defective dishwasher
cartridge.
Defective O-rings
1. Clogged aerator.
2. Water inlet blocked.
Dirt/particulates in the
cartridge.
Possible cause
Defective head piece.
Clogged filter.
The mixer is connected
incorrectly.
Solution
Replace cartridge
Replace the sealing rings
Replace dishwasher
cartridge,
Replace O-rings. Lubri-
cate with silicone grease.

2. Clean the inlet filters
First close off the inlet
water. The hot water
must be connected
to the mixer's left side
(quantity regulation).
