Principe 1
1. take a 3645 and a 3649 staple and weld them into the plastic
as shown opposite.
2. We recommend that you repair the break from the inside.
3. Insert the staples into the middle of the plastic material
followingthe method shown opposite: 2 x 3649 along the edge
of the repair, followed by alternating 3645 and 3649 along the
repair as needed.
4. cut the excess using pliers, but leave a little in order to fix
the wire mesh onto the repair for melting. This step will
increase the resistance of the repair.
5. Cut two small squares of 3650 wire mesh (around 7mm x 7mm).
6. Weld the mesh as shown opposite using the welding tip.
7. Use the special drill Ref :571 on the outside of the part
in order to create a channel along the break.
8. Using a sander and 120 grit paper, sand the surface by
around 5cm on each side of the break.
9. reseal using 36891 semi-rigid repair cartridge
without primer. (see technical sheet 3689)
10. Leave for 20 Minutes at 20°C and sand using 120 – 220 grit paper.
11. repeat the process using 36091 putty if necessary, then apply
the finishing primer.
