Safety - Storage
In order to ensure user safety as well as durability and optimum performance of the device, the following rules must be strictly
adhered to:
■ before each use, read the user intruction manual.
■ before each use, recharge the device as instructed under uses/charging the battery.
■ use only the charger provided to recharge the device.
■ the storage and the charging of the battery must be carried out in temperature conditions greater than 0° but less than 25° celsius.
■ keep the device separate from all sources of heat.
■ the storage and the charging of the battery must be carried out in dry conditions and kept separate from any flammable material.
Before plugging in, ensure that both the device the socket are dry.
■ the device must be protected against moisture, shocks, and any risk of liquid projection.
■ do not leave any melted substances on the electrodes. before each use, check that the tip is not obstructed in any way.
■ do not place any metallic object in contact with the electrodes.
■ do not touch the electrodes with your fingers after using the welding tip. use gloves or pliers to remove the welding tip.
■ the device must not be left within the reach of children, as well as those who are not equipped to use the device.
■ improper or innappropriate use of the device can lead to serious burns (temperatures exceeding 700° celsius).
■ never place the hot tip on a flammable surface.
■ never place the hot tip onto the skin, the hand or into the mouth.
■ if the device has been used, even if switched off, the tip will still be hot and can cause serious burns if touched.
■ do not use the device if the hot tip is impaired, especially if it shows any signs of wear and tear such as breaks or deformations.
■ Wear and tear parts are to be replaced only by original parts.
■ never open the device, take it to an authorised technician.
■ never let the battery completely run out of charge. in the case of prolonged storage without usage, recharge the battery at least once
every 3 months and ensure that it is stored in an area of temperature greater than 25° Celsius.
■ never leave the battery on charge for more than 1 month.
■ do not dispose of this device in a bin. it contains batteries which must be removed according to the rules in force. disregard of
these rules can lead to a void warranty.
■ this device is not intended for use by anyone (including children) whose physical, sensory or mental capabilities are limited, as
well as those who lack experience or knowledge of the device, unless permitted to do so by an intermidiary or those responsible for
their safety, under surveillance or with prior instructions on how to operate the device.
■ it should be noted that children should be supervised at all times to ensure that they do not play with the device.
■ keep out of the reach of children.
■ do not place the device in or near water.
■ do not place this object in or near fire, nor on a surface of temperature greater than 40 ° celsius.
■ do not place the tip of the device in contact with the skin, especially whilst on charge.
■ do not place this device in or near the mouth, especially whilst on charge.
■ do not hold this device by the tip, especially whilst on charge.
■ disregard of the instructions will void the warranty.
■ this device is not a toy, nor is it a tool that may be used for any use other than the one for which is was designed. it must only be
used for repairing plastic materials, using accessories sold by the manfacturer. No liability may be sought against our organisation
for any other use.
