Maintenance
Uses / Identifying problems and possible solutions
By design, this device is protected against misuse.
Temperature control facilitates the protection of the internal components. If the maximum temperature is exceeded, the device cuts
out and restarts after a few minutes. If the welding tip is damaged or if it is badly connected, the device will not work. Check the
condition of the welding tip and change it if necessary. Check that the material in contact with la panne de soudage is not oxidised.
in the case of overheating within the device, it will automatically cut out. Wait for the internal temperature to return to normal before
using the device. Important :In the case of continuous overheating, do not use the device and send it for repair. Please note that the
device may quickly cut out during use if the environment in which it is being used is greater than 45°C. The maximum temperature
that the battery can withstand is 50°C.
Reset:
The Magic Stapler is permanently feed by the battery, RESET allows to restart all the software function in case of problem. To make
the reset, press simultaneously the uP and doWn button together. this function can by useful after a long stay off period.
The lights (Rep6) indicating the level of battery charge :
Whilst charging :
■ the trigger and the buttons + and - are inhibited.
■ the Leds which indicate battery level flash (flashing slowly ≈ 1second)
Once charging is complete :
■ the Leds which indicate battery level are illuminated as the device maintains charge.
■ important : never use liquid to clean the product. Protect it against all risks of liquid projection.
Battery
In order to preserve the durability of your battery, it is essential to respect the following regulations :
■ never allow the battery to completely run out of charge.
■ never store your device if the battery is uncharged.
■ in the case of prolonged storage without usage, recharge the battery at least every 3 months. the battery will need to be charged
more than this if the device is stored in areas greater than 25°C.
■ store the device in an environment that is preferably between 0 and 20° celsius
Welding tip
It is recommended to remove any dirt accumulated on the panne de soudage (Rep1) using a small brush once the la panne cools before
putting it away.
If the panne de soudage (Rep1) is damaged, it must be changed.
General functioning problems:
■ if the device is still fully charged after 24 hours without having moved into the phase de charge de maintien: cHarge_error
■ if the temperature of the battery is higher than the maximum value (lors de la charge ou en fonctionnement): temP_error
►Leave the device to cool, if the problem persists, contact your distributor for a repair.
■ if a current greater than the maximum current is detected : current_error : the trigger cuts out for 25 seconds:
►wait until the Led 6 stops flashing before resuming work (never use any accessories other than those sold to you
with the device, never place any metallic object in contact with the electrodes.
■ if any anomalies are detected on the circuit board:
►contact your distributor
■ if the device does not power on using the on oFF button:
►try the uP and doWn buttons.
■ if the device still does not power on:
►charge the battery
■ if the device powers on using the uP and doWn buttons:
►the button is faulty, contact your distributor.
■ if the uP and doWn buttons no longer control the Leds and do not power the device:
►the button is faulty, contact your distributor.
