1. Insert the mains plug into a
properly installed and easily
accessible earthed socket.
2. Place the jug onto the base
and contact pin (6).
The kettle switches to standby
mode and the display shows
the actual water temperature.
3. To start the heating process,
press the button.
At this time, the desired water
temperature can be set by
repeatedly pressing the
button. The water tempera-
ture can be set from 40°C to
100°C.
The display shows the
selected water temperature
and the button flashes while
setting.
The button will stop flashing
after approx. 5 seconds and
will light up permanently. The
water begins to heat up.
Once the set temperature has
been reached, the kettle auto-
matically switches to standby
mode and the light of the
button goes out.
The heating process
does not start until the
actual water temperature is
below the set water temperature.
When the set water temperature
is exceeded, the kettle automati-
cally switches to standby mode.
4. To stop the heating process,
press the
switches to standby mode.
The kettle will enter standby
or
mode after being switched off,
and the display will show the
actual water temperature until
the mains plug is pulled from
the socket.
