If you wish to connect the interface to the Nikobus, see diagram fig.2.
Note: if you are controlling the telephone interface via the contacts of a switching module,
make sure a safety low-voltage is switched. If you wish to switch 230V AC via the same
switching module, make sure 1 contact (e.g. contact 4) is left over as a buffer.
In order to fulfill the general safety regulations for telecommunication systems and to
avoid disturbances, the following directives have to be taken into account: DIN VDE 0100
part 520 and DIN EN 50174-2:2001-09, section 5.4 and 5.5: a physical separation has
to be provided.

2.2. Taking into use

1. Connect the incoming telephone line with screw terminals La and Lb (tip and ring) of the
interface. You can connect the telephone line to the internal units to terminals a2 and
b2 (see fig.1). You can also connect the telephone interface to a telephone network with
telephone exchange. Remove the upper connector to connect the wires.
2. Connect terminals L1 and N to the mains 230V (see fig. 1). terminal capacity max. 1 x

3. Carry out the cabling as shown in fig. 1.
Attention:
In order to control the output locally, you can connect an external push button between
S1 and ⊥ that is parallelly connected to the flush mounted on/off push button. Take into
account the max. contact load (see technical data on p70).
