ded in order to get the most from your pool cleaner in complete safety.
For any further information your retailer, a pool professional, will be able to advise you on how
to use and maintain your pool cleaner.

1/ IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: Be sure to comply with the following instructions.
Your Vortex 1 pool cleaner has been manufactured in compliance with the strictest standards.
In order to benefit the most from the purchase of your appliance in complete safety please
respect the following indications:
•
Only connect the control box to a power outlet protected by a 30 mA ground fault circuit
interrupter.
•
Make sure that the plug is permanently and easily accessible.
•
The control box must not be installed in an area susceptible to flooding
•
Install the control box at least 3.5 meters from the pool edge and avoid exposing it to
direct sunlight.
•
Do not allow bathing when the cleaner is in the pool. If the control box falls into the water it
is imperative that you turn off the power supply before retrieving it.
•
In order to avoid the risk of an electric shock never open the electronic control box. Consult
a qualified technician.
•
Never attempt to repair the power supply cable.
Contact the customer service in order to replace the original part to avoid any hazards.
•
Only use the appliance in your pool if the water temperature is between 10°C and 35°C.
•
Disconnect the power supply cable before any cleaning, maintenance or service operations
and after each use.
SAFETY RULES
For all interventions other than standard maintenance and cleaning as described in these
instructions, this appliance should be serviced by your local approved and qualified pool
appliance retailer. If this is not the case maintenance should be carried out by a professional
having sufficient experience in pool equipment maintenance and installation to be able to
perfectly follow the instructions in this document. All non compliant installations and operations
void the guarantee.
