3 Before Use

• Hand wash the entire mask before use (see Mask Care section).
• Wash your face.
Caution:
Do not use moisturizer or lotion on your hands or face.
• Inspect the entire mask. Discard and replace any damaged or worn parts.
4 Achieving the Right Fit
Cushion Sizing
Select the cushion that fits the width of your nose without blocking your nostrils. The top of the
cushion may sit between the bridge and the tip of your nose. There are five cushion sizes available:
Philips Respironics DreamStation Mask Type and System One Resistance Control Settings
Using your mask with a Philips Respironics DreamStation or System One device provides optimal
comfort. The provider sets this value (X1) on your device.
Putting on the Mask
1. Unclasp one or both of the
magnetic clips from the
magnetic clip receiver.
2. Pull the headgear on over the
top of your head.
3. Place the cushion over your
nose.
4. Clasp one or both of the
magnetic clips to the magnetic clip receiver.
