INSTALLING THE DVD-R DRIVE
4. Insert the DVD-R drive.
Insert halfway into drive bay #2, following
the guide rails at the left and right of the
changer when doing so.
5. Complete installation of the DVD-R
drive:
Correctly attach the connectors to 2
locations on the left (yellow) and to 1
location on the right (yellow).
Reference: Harness (wire) color
Drive No. 4 (top) ...................................... black
Drive No. 3 (third from the bottom) ............ blue
Drive No. 2 (second from the bottom) .... yellow
Drive No. 1 (bottom) .................................. red
Be sure the drive has been fully inserted
into its slot, then secure it in place with
the two screws at left and right.
Fix the right and left cables in place using
the cord holders, and then fix neatly into
place. Unused power cables to the right
must be returned to their original
position. (See the figure in procedure 2.)
* Repeat steps 4 and 5 if you wish to install
additional ROM drives. (See the User's
Manual which comes with the drive(s)
to be installed for detailed information on
how to do so.)
