8. USING THE PORTABLE BAND SAW

8.5 MOUNTING THE CUTTING END STOP

Lie the band down in the position shown in the
illustration (Fig. 40).

Screw down the cutting end stop into the illustrated
position (Fig. 41), taking into account that this has
been turned 180º with respect to the position shown in
Fig. 38.

8.6 HOW TO HOLD THE PORTABLE
BAND SAW
To perform a manual cut with the band saw in portable
mode, grab the upper handle with your left hand and the
lower handle with your right hand (Fig. 42).

8.7 STARTING UP THE BAND SAW IN
PORTABLE MODE
With the band saw held as previously illustrated (Fig. 42),
first press back the unblocking actuator (A) and then raise
the start up actuator (B). Both triggers are located on the
lower handle (Fig. 43).
