INSTALLATION

Mounting Forks

• The forks are mounted in the same way as standard
forks.
• Standard Forks (Driver/Follower) – On the serial
number an "L" is marked on the left telescopic fork
and an "R" is marked on the right telescopic fork. The
telescopic forks must be mounted left and right on the
truck carriage, as viewed from the drivers seat.
• Position the telescopic forks on the lift truck carriage and
fully engage the fork pin into the notch of the lift truck
upper carriage bar.
Hydraulic Connections–
Standard Forks
Mount the hoses to guard against damage.
• The hoses should be connected as shown in the
schematic to avoid back pressure in the hydraulic
system.
NOTE: The forks are not identical, the right driver must
be mounted on the right side of the carriage (viewed
from the drivers seat).
• Oil flow in excess of 8 gpm (30 lpm) should be reduced
by a flow regulator in the lift truck.
Extend and retract the telescopic forks slowly without
a load to remove trapped air from the hydraulic system.
Make sure hoses are not kinked. Check for oil leaks.
