6 MAINTENANCE

6.1 General

 Whether in use or in storage, please do
not exceed the specification require to
avoid any possible damage or danger
during use
 Do not place this probe in high
temperature or expose to direct sunlight
 Be sure to turn the probe off after use.
For long time storage, remove the
battery to avoid leakage of battery liquid
that would damage the interior parts.
 Long-term
chemicals and gases may affect the
characteristics of the sensor and
shorten its life.

6.2 Battery replacement

When "Low Battery" LED indicator light up
replace the battery.

1. Move the selector in OFF position
2. Detach the battery cover
3. Replace the battery with a new one of
the same type (see § 7.2) observing the
proper polarities
4. Restore the battery cover
5. Use the appropriate battery disposal
methods for your area
