BUILDING
a) Building the relay module P6713R
Fit resistor R9, 1K5 (brown, green, red)
Fit the following diodes (pay attention to the polarity!):
D1, 1N4148 type small signal diode
D2 through D5, diodes from the 1N4000 series
ZD1, 5,6V zener diode
ZD2, 24V zener diode
Fit the following resistors vertically:
R10, 220 ohm 0.5W (red, red, brown)
R11, 100K 1W (brown, black, yellow)
Fit the pcb pins for MAINS, NO, COM and NC
Fit the following capacitors:
C12, 100uF electrolytic capacitor. Pay attention to the polarity!
C13, 470nF MKT 400V or higher (sometimes marked 0.47)
Assembly of the suppressor network: Fit C14 (100nF/400V MKC)
vertically and solder only one lead. Fit R12 (220 ohm 0.5W red,
red, brown) vertically and solder only one lead in case you use the
NO contact of the relay. If on the contrary, you use the NC contact
of the relay, then fit this resistor for R13, in the same way. After
that connect the free ends of the resistor and the capacitor
together. (see fig. 1.0) Remark: when switching small loads (other
relay, fan, ...) it may be necessary to reduce the value of the
suppressor capacitor, e.g. 22nF/400V.
Tips in the case of noise caused by the relays: In case the relay is
used to switch alternate current, it may be necessary to provide
extra suppressing for it. Figure 2a indicates how to suppress
resistive loads (bulb, resistor, ...), figure 2b indicates how to
suppress inductive loads (transformer, motor, ...) and figure c
indicates how to proceed in case all the preceding solutions fail. In
the latter case an independently feeded direct current relay is
used.
Fit relay RY1, 24V type. Fit LED LD1, with its top at a distance of
H6713-ED1-19
