Insert the handlebar post (4) into the socket
on the frame (1), and screw it securely using
a washer (7), a spring washer (14) and a bolt
(19).
Pull the pulse sensor wires (26) from the
handlebar (5) in through the hole in the side
of the handlebar post (4) and out through
the opening in the handlebar post.
Fit the handlebar (5) and cover (25a) to the
handlebar post (4) using a washer (7), a
spacer (43) and a T-bolt (42).

Connect the wires (22, 26) to the
corresponding wires on the computer (35).
Insert two 1.5 V AA batteries into the battery
compartment on the computer (35). Check
that the batteries are correctly fi tted.
Screw the computer (35) securely to the
bracket on the handlebar post (4) using 2
screws (37).
Screw the cover (25b) securely to the
handlebar post (4) using a screw (24).
Insert the saddle post (28) into the socket
on the frame (1), and screw it securely at the
required height using the knob (20).
Screw the saddle rail (33) securely in the
bracket on the saddle post (28) using a
washer (30) and the knob (29). Secure it in
the required position.
