Problem
Mist is leaking from the
base.

Possible Solution
Turn off and unplug the humidifier. Make sure the water tank is
properly aligned with the base.
Use purified or distilled water to fill the humidifier. Avoid using
water with high mineral content.
Clean the humidifier (see Keeping Things Clean, page 8).
The humidifier is malfunctioning. Unplug and contact Customer
