This charger is intended for direct connection to a easily accessible 110 ~ 240 V AC (50/60HZ) mains
supply socket near to the charger. Switch on the charger with the mains switch on the backside, the
power LED (RED) should now light up to indicate that charger is ready for use.
This charger is designed to charge Nickel-Cadmium, Nickel-Metal-Hydride, lead-acid and LiPo/LiFe-
batteries. It is comprehensively protected against overload and short-circuit, and requires no maintenance.
Separate charge indicator LEDs are fitted for each charge output.
This charger has 9 output ports (OUTPUT 1 ~ OUTPUT 9).
ATTENTION: If you use a transmitter with protection diode against wrong polarity use only
OUTPUT 4 or OUTPUT 6 - 9.

When a battery is charged, a particular quantity of electrical energy is fed into the battery, which can
be calculated by multiplying charge current by charge time. The maximum permissible charge current
varies according to the type of cells in the pack; the figure can be found in the data sheet supplied by
the battery manufacturer.
To prolong the service life of the battery, please select the correct charge current (charge port) as
follows:

Connection:
1. NiMH battery on output 3-5 Δwith auto-
matic ∆peak shut-off (refer to Chapter 9)
2. NiMH battery on output 6 - 9 (Chapter 9)
3. LiPo battery on output 1 - 2 with balan-
cer, automatic CC-CV charge method
(Chapter 10)
ATTENTION: Pay particular atten-
tion to correct polarity: red plug of the
charging cable at the top (+), black con-
nector below (-). Use only charging leads

of adequate conductor cross-section and
should be not be more than 30 cm long,
good-quality connectors (gold-contact ty-
pes) must be fitted to both ends.
