Turn the handwheel
Move the external measuring jaws

ensure that you do not damage the object you want to
measure by subjecting it to too much pressure.
Measuring an object from the inside:

Place the internal measuring jaws

Measuring the depth of an object:

Move the depth-measuring blade

Slide the body of the calliper downward until you feel
resistance.

Ensure that you do not damage the depth-measuring blade
