3. Assembling the Pumpset

Assemble as illustrated.
Important: Boil before first use (see section on "Cleaning at home") and check that the smooth side of the flexible
membrane pot is facing outwards.

4. Cleaning at home
After each use, wash with washing-up liquid and rinse well. Once a day, disassemble and
boil the components for 10 minutes, or put in the dishwasher or steam steriliser, then dry
and cover with a clean cloth.
The components shown in the illustration can, but need not be boiled. It is sufficient to
wipe them with a cloth when needed. Do not clean the lip valve with a brush.
5. Cleaning in hospitals
Disassemble and sterilise at 121 °C (250 °F) for 20 minutes / 134 °C (273 °F) for 5 minutes. The parts shown in the
illustration can, but need not be sterilised.
