16. Changing batteries

!
Attention:
Never re-charge batteries.
i
Note: No data are lost on changing batteries.
If replacement takes more than 10 minutes, the
CRR 320 timer must be set again with the aid of the
software.
Use a size 6 Allen key to screw out the hexagon socket
head bolt (Fig. 9, Item 3) at the housing handle end
(Fig. 9, Item 1). Insert new batteries/fully charged
rechargeable batteries (Fig. 9, Item 2) or replace flat
batteries with new batteries or charged rechargeable
batteries.
Make sure the positive post (+) of the batteries/rechar-
geable batteries is always facing forwards
towards the housing.
Fig. 9:

Screw the hexagon socket head bolt (Fig. 9, Item 3)
into the handle end. This switches on the CRR320 and
the start screen is displayed for approx. 5 seconds.
During this period, set down the CRR 320 on a firm,
vibration-free surface.
!
Important: Do not move the CRR320. The CRR320
then switches automatically to calibration mode.
"Peak" mode is displayed after "Calibration OK". The
CRR320 is then ready for operation.
