8. Inserting/Removing the Holder

a) Slide/Negative Holder

When inserting the slide or negative holder into the multi-scanner, observe that the
holder is always inserted into the multi-scanner from the right (see chapter 6, item 14).
Never push it into the multi-scanner from the left (see chapter 6, item 13), since it may
then be damaged; loss of warranty/guarantee!
Insert the slide or negative holder into the multi-scanner in the correct orientation. The arrow
mark " " at the edge of the holder must point towards the insertion (14). Do not apply any
force, however.
The slide/negative holder must be moved manually; there is no transport mechanism
in the multi-scanner.
To remove it, pull the slide or negative holder out of the insert (13) to the left.

b) Photo/Calling Card Holder

The holder is pushed into the insert (12) from above so that the photo (or the calling card) points
forwards towards you. The wave-shaped side of the photo/calling card holder must be on top for
this. Do not apply any force for insertion and pulling out.
The photo/calling card holder must be moved manually; there is no transport mecha-
nism in the multi-scanner.
