10. Selecting Mode of Operation

a) Operating Mode „PHOTO SCANNER"
This operating mode is used to scan/digitise photographs or calling cards.
• If a slide or negative holder is inserted in the multi-scanner, remove it.
• Move the two sliders (6) and (11) to the position "PHOTO SCANNER" until they latch.
The LED "PHOTO SCAN" (2) lights up.
When switching the slider (6), the corresponding message will appear in the display
stating that the slider (11) must be put in the proper position and that any inserted
slide or negative holder must be removed from the multi-scanner. This message will
disappear automatically after a few seconds.
Always observe that the two sliders (6) and (11) are always in the same position.
b) Operating Mode „FILM SCANNER"
This operating mode is used to scan/digitise slides or negatives.
• If a photo or calling card holder is inserted in the multi-scanner, remove it.
• Move the two sliders (6) and (11) to the position "FILM SCANNER" until they latch.
The LED "FILM SCAN" (3) lights up.
When switching the slider (6), the corresponding message will be displayed, accord-
ing to which the slider (11) must be put in the right position. This message will disap-
pear automatically after a few seconds.
Always observe that the two sliders (6) and (11) are always in the same position.
