12. Troubleshooting

With this multi-scanner, you purchased a product built to the state of the art and operationally
safe. Nevertheless, problems or errors may occur. The following contains descriptions for the
removal of possible interferences.
Always observe all safety information in these operating instructions!
Problem
Colours are presented
incorrectly
The picture is blurred
Dust particles or scratches
visible in the scanned image
No access to the internal
memory of the multi-scanner
No images can be saved
No USB connection to a
computer
Solution Aid
• Select the right film type.
• Change the brightness or the red, green and blue
shares in the recording.
• Insert the slide/negative turned by 180° (swap front
and rear).
• The scanned slide/negative/photo is dirty.
• No SD/SDHC memory card must be inserted.
• The memory is full.
• The write protection (the small slider at the edge of the
memory card) of the inserted SD/SDHC memory card
is activated.
• Activate USB-mode; then an SD/SDHC memory card or
the internal memory can be read out.
• Always use a USB port of your computer or a USB hub
with a mains adapter. A USB port, e.g. at a keyboard
or a USB hub without a mains adapter, will not supply
enough power.
