The Power Tuner is equipped with the following functions, which can be used when the unit is
connected to the ECU (engine control unit) of a vehicle.
The SETTING function can be used to change the engine control settings to suit the riding

course, road surface conditions, and rider skills.
The MONITOR function can be used to display the signals from various sensors as values

in order to check the condition of the engine.
SETTING function
The settings for fuel injection amount and ignition timing of the engine can be adjusted using
the unit. The settings can then be saved in the unit as setting data. By sending the saved setting
data to the ECU of a vehicle, the engine control settings can be changed easily.
In addition, the adjustment values currently set in an ECU can be downloaded to the unit.
MONITOR function
The signals (engine speed, intake air temperature, water temperature, atmospheric pressure,
and throttle position) from various sensors on a vehicle can be checked using values.
In addition, the engine running time and error codes from the self-diagnosis system can be dis-
played.
