Engine control settings (SETTING function)
The settings will not be reflected in the en-
G
gine idling speed range (approximately
3000 rpm and at a throttle position of 2 de-
grees or less).
The engine speed and throttle position for
G
each area, as well as the ignition timing ac-
cording to the adjustment values, vary ac-
cording to the model.
Example: 2010 YZ450F
Engine speed
G
Low engine speed
Medium engine speed : 6500 rpm
High engine speed
Throttle position
G
Small opening angle
Medium opening angle : 30 degrees
Large opening angle
The ignition timing advances approximately
1 degree for each +1 change to the adjust-
ment value.
5. Push the set button.
The adjustment value will flash 2 times,
and then the value will be set.
6. Repeat steps 3–5 for each area that you
want to adjust.

: 4000 rpm
: 9000 rpm
: 10 degrees
: 60 degrees
To increase or decrease the adjustment val-
ues in all of the areas together
1. Select the [SLCT All] tab using the "
" button, and then push the set but-
ton.
The adjustment values in all of the areas
will be selected.
2. Change the adjustment values using the
" / " button.
All of the adjustment values will be in-
creased or decreased together.
