Checking the engine condition (MONITOR function)

time and error codes from the
self-diagnosis system
Select the [S/D] tab on the MONITOR screen
using the " / " button, and then push the
set button.
The S/D screen will be displayed.

The following items are displayed in the S/D
screen.
Engine running time
Displays the engine running time (total time
the engine has been running since it was last
reset) in the format mmm:ss.
Error code
Displays the error codes detected by the ECU
self-diagnosis system.
[CLR R/T] tab
Resets the engine running time.

Switches to the MONITOR screen.
[BACK] tab
Switches to the INITIAL screen.

Checking the engine running time

The engine running time recorded in the ECU
is displayed.
The engine running time can be reset using
the unit.
To reset the engine running time
1. Select the [CLR R/T] tab using the "
" button, and then push the set but-
ton.
The reset confirmation screen will be
displayed and the indicator light will be-
come red.

TIP
If you do not want to reset the engine running
time, select [CANCEL], and then push the set
button.
