For your safety
Do not blend any hot liquids. When hot liquids are blended,
ƒ
such liquids may splash and there is a risk of scalding!
Do not blend any liquids on a heat source, such as on the stove.
ƒ
Use a working container of sufficient size and height to pre-
ƒ
vent liquid from splashing out.
Dip the hand blender with the blender attachment into the
ƒ
liquid until the blade head is completely immersed before
you switch on the hand blender.
Never place the appliance on hot surfaces.
ƒ
Position the appliance in such a way that it cannot fall into
ƒ
a washbasin, sink or such like.
Place the working container with the food to be processed
ƒ
by the appliance on a flat, firm surface.
Do not crush any hard ingredients such as ice cubes or nuts
ƒ
with the hand blender.
Chop the ingredients into small pieces (max. 1.5 cm) before
ƒ
placing them in the working container. Do not purée any
large quantities of ingredients.
In order to avoid overheating, do not use the appliance for
ƒ
more than 30 seconds. Let the appliance cool down for at
least 10 minutes before further use. In the event of auto-
matic shutdown due to overheating, unplug the power plug
from the socket.
If heat or odours develop, switch off the appliance immedi-
ƒ
ately and unplug the power plug from the socket.
Do not remove the blender attachment from the working con-
ƒ
tainer until the appliance has come to a standstill. The appli-
ance continues to run briefly after it has been switched off.
Switch off the appliance and unplug the power plug from
ƒ
the socket before changing accessories or approaching
parts that move in use.
