For your safety
As long as the power plug is plugged in, there is voltage
inside the appliance, even if the motor is not running. After
every use and in the event of danger or a defect, unplug the
power plug from the socket immediately. For this reason,
keep the socket easily accessible at all times.
Unplug the appliance from the socket prior to cleaning or
maintenance.
Never unscrew the appliance and do not make any techni-
cal modifications.
1.5 How to prevent injuries and property damage
If the hand blender is handled incorrectly, there is a consid-
erable risk of accidents due to electric current and rotating
blades. In order to keep the risk as low as possible, always
observe the following guidelines:
There is a potential risk of injury from misuse. Always han-
dle the appliance with care.
Check the appliance prior to every commissioning. Only use
the appliance if it is in flawless condition.
Only use the original blender attachment included in the
scope of delivery.
Never touch the running blades, neither with your hand
nor with objects. Hair, mouth, hands, clothing and jewel-
lery must be kept away from the running blades in order to
prevent injuries.
Only hold the appliance by the drive unit during use.
Never handle other objects in the working container during
use.
Note that liquid is required for working with the hand
blender. Add stock, juice, milk, etc. to the working container
until the desired consistency is achieved.
