1.4 Power supply
The appliance uses a dangerous electric current that could
cause a fatal electric shock:
Do not use the appliance outdoors or in rooms with a high
humidity level (e.g. bathroom).
Only plug the appliance into a correctly installed, earthed
socket.
Only operate the appliance if the voltage stated on the rat-
ing plate matches the voltage of your socket.
Make sure that the power cable is not kinked or pinched.
Make sure that the power cable does not hang over a cor-
ner of the table or work surface and make sure that it can-
not be pulled down.
Never use the appliance if the power cable or the appliance
itself is damaged.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons
in order to avoid a hazard.
Do not wrap the power cable around the appliance.
Attach the blender attachment correctly, before you plug the
power plug into the socket.
When unplugging the power plug from the socket, always
unplug the power plug directly and never pull the power
cable. Do not carry the appliance by the power cable.
Never touch the power plug with wet hands. Do not operate
the appliance with wet hands or if the appliance is sitting on
wet ground.
Never immerse the drive unit in water or other liquids.
Do not clean the drive unit under running water.
Do not put the hand blender in the dishwasher.
