Once the preferred station has been found, press the TUNE/SELECT (12) control again.
Use the VOLUME (2) control to adjust to your desired output level.
Note: If an alarm has been set, an alarm icon is shown on the clock display. You can press the
INFO (5) button to display additional information.

Automatic and manual tuning to FM stations
Press repeatedly the SOURCE (8) button until "FM Mode" is shown on the display (7).
Press and hold the SCAN (3) button to automatically scan to the next FM radio station. The
display (7) will change to "Scanning..." and the radio will scan up the frequency band.
To manually tune to FM stations, rotate the TUNE/SELECT (12) control to search gradually in 0.05
MHz steps for FM stations.
Use the VOLUME (2) control to adjust to your desired output level.

Displaying RDS information in FM mode
RDS (Radio Data System) is a service that allows FM stations to show additional information.
Press MENU (4) repeatedly while tuned to an RDS radio station to scroll through the available
information or to return to normal display. The available information will be shown on the bottom
part of the display (7).

Saving and selecting a preset station
For each mode, DAB and FM, your radio can store up to 10 stations in the memory.
Tune to the station you want to save to the memory (5.6 Automatic and manual tuning to DAB
stations / 5.7 Automatic and manual tuning to FM stations).
Press and hold PRESET (9) button until shows "Preset Stored". Use the TUNE/SELECT (12)
control button to scroll to the preset location that you would like to store the radio station to (1 -
10).
Press the TUNE/SELECT (12) control button to select. The display (7) will confirm with "Preset X
stored", where "X" is the number of the preset (1 - 10).
Note: If there is already an existing DAB/FM station stored under a preset, it will be over written when
you store the new station. You can also quickly add a station to the 1, 2, or 3 memory button by holding
the respective button down on the front of the radio until it states "Preset Stored".
To select an already saved station, press Preset (9) button, choose the station with the TUNE/
SELECT (12) control and press the TUNE/SELECT (12) control.
To retrieve a station from the 1, 2 or 3 memory button, press the respective button on the front of
the radio.
To retrieve a station from 4 to 10, press the PRESET (9) button, then rotate the TUNE/
SELECT (12) control, until the desired station is shown. Press the TUNE/SELECT (12) control to
select the station.
Explanation
Scrolling text information provided by the broadcaster.
Describes the style of the programme being broadcasted.
Displays a signal strength bar graph. The longer the bar graph, the
stronger the signal. Use this function when setting up the aerial for
the strongest signal.
Displays the frequency that contains the station you are listening to.
Displays the audio type of the radio station: stereo or mono.
Time and date are updated by broadcasted information.
