5.5 Displaying additional information for DAB and FM stations
In DAB mode:
When listening to a DAB station you can change the information that will appear on the lower

display line.
Press the INFO (5) button repeatedly to change the information display while tuned to a DAB radio
„
station.

In FM mode:
The bottom part of the display (7) can be switched to show different information that may be

transmitted by a FM station.
Press the INFO (5) button repeatedly to change the information display while tuned to a FM radio

station. The full range of display options are shown below. Some stations may not broadcast all of
these options though.

5.6 Automatic and manual tuning to DAB stations
In DAB mode:
When your radio is switched on for the first time, the radio enters automatically DAB mode and

it starts an automatic full scan for DAB radio stations. The radio scans all available stations.
The initial scan will take a few minutes. A bar diagram shows the progress of the scan on the
display (7). After the scan, the clock will be set automatically when DAB stations are available and
the radio will display the name of the first station in the sequence.
To manually start an automatic scan of the frequency band for DAB stations, press the TUNE/
„
SELECT (12) control. The display (7) shows "Scanning...". If there are no DAB stations available,
the display (7) shows "No DAB station".
To search manually for DAB stations, press the MENU (4) button until you enter a menu.

Rotate the TUNE/SELECT (12) control button, until "Manual tune" is shown on the display (7).

Press the TUNE/SELECT (12) control button to confirm.
Funktion
Shows the strength of the FM signal as a bar.
Such as "Rock", "Pop", "Talk" or "News"
Displays the broadcasting area and collection of radio stations on this
frequency e.g.: BBC National DAB, Digital 1 Network.
e.g.: 12B 225.648 MHz
This is displayed as a number between 0 - 99. It would not be possible to
satisfactorily listen to a radio station with a signal error rate of 30 or above.
Try adjusting the antenna (11) or relocating your radio to improve reception.
The data rate at which the signal is being transmitted.
Supplied by the broadcaster.
Function
This is scrolling text information supplied by the broadcaster.

Clock adjustment, Date format, Clock 12/24 hours format, auto time adjustment
and Date adjustment
The radio will automatically switch between Stereo and Mono, depending on
the quality of the signal being received.
