BEFORE FIRST USE
3.1
Unpacking
Remove all packaging.
Check for the presence of all parts and for transport damage. In case of damage or incomplete
delivery, please contact your dealer (
Please keep the packaging. The appliance can be stored in it if it is not used for a longer period of
time.
Place the appliance on a level, stable, clean and dry surface.
Ensure that there is sufficient ventilation. Keep a minimum distance of 5 cm between the product
and other objects or walls.
3.2
Power supply
The appliance is powered through a included power adapter.
Insert the power adapter into the
power adapter to a suitable wall outlet. Make sure that the power supply voltage is the same as
needed for the appliance.
4.
BASIC FUNCTIONS
4.1
Switching the appliance on and to standby
Connect the power adapter (see 3.2 Power supply). The display (7) lights up and briefly shows
"Welcome to Digital Radio".
Turning the appliance on: Press the POWER (1) button. The display (7) lights up and shows the
last set mode.
Switch the appliance to standby: Press the POWER (1) button again. The display (7) lights up
and briefly shows "Standby Mode". In the standby mode the date and the time are displayed if set.
Completely disconnect the appliance from the power supply: Disconnect the power adapter (17)
from the wall outlet. Do this if you do not use the appliance for a longer period of time.
4.2
Setting volume level
Turn the VOLUME (2) control to decrease or increase the volume level. A bar diagram shows on
the display (7) the volume level set.
To mute the sound, turn the VOLUME (2) control counter-clockwise until the bar disappears.
Note: The volume level can be set in the DAB / FM / Bluetooth
4.3
Changing the source
Press SOURCE (8) to switch DAB / FM / Bluetooth
Please check the display (7), which will confirm the mode.
4.4
Setting time / date manually
The clock is set and displayed automatically in DAB+ mode, if the service is available.
If you need to set time / date manually, follow the steps below:
Press the MENU (4) button. Use the rotary TUNE / SELECT (12) control to select "<System>".
Note: Time / date can be set with the powered on appliance.
Use the rotary TUNE/SELECT (12) control to scroll to "<Time>". Press the TUNE/SELECT (12)
control to select.
Use the rotary TUNE/SELECT (12) control to scroll to "<Set Time/Date>". Press the TUNE/
SELECT (12) control to select.
"Set time" is displayed and the hour digits will flash. Use the TUNE/SELECT (12) control to scroll
to the correct hour. Press the TUNE/SELECT (12) control to select.
The minutes will now flash. Use the TUNE/SELECT (12) control to scroll to the correct minutes.
Press the TUNE/SELECT (12) control to select.
"Set date" is displayed and the day will flash. Use the TUNE/SELECT (12) control and press to
select to set the day, month and year, using the same method as you did to set the time.
When you confirm the correct date, "Time/Date Saved" is displayed and the display (7) returns to
"<Set Time/Date>".
You can now use the TUNE/SELECT (12) control to scroll and the same method as you did to
set the time and date to change the settings for the options: "Set 12/24 hour" (12/24 hour clock
display) and "Set date format" (DD-MM-YYYY or MM-DD-YYYY).
