For your safety

CAUTION: Read all safety advices and instructions! Non-
observance of the safety advices and instructions may cause
electric shock or severe injuries!

General safety advices:

• The appliance may be operated by children from the age of 3 and older, if
they are supervised or if they have been instructed in the safe use of the
appliance considering any risks resulting from it.
• Cleaning and maintenance by the user must not be carried out by children,
unless they are older than 8 years and supervised.
• Always keep children under the age of 3 away from the appliance and the
power cord.
• This appliance may be used by persons with impaired physical, sensory or
mental abilities or with lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been
supervised or instructed in the safe use of the appliance and have
understood the dangers involved.
• Children may not play with the appliance.
• Packing material like e. g. foil bags should be kept away from children.
• Do not operate this appliance with an external timer or a separate tele-
control system.
• Prior to each use, check the appliance and the accessory parts for perfect
condition. It must not be operated if it has been dropped down or shows
any visible damage. In these cases, the power supply must be disconnected
and the appliance has to be checked by an expert electrician.
• When laying the power cord, make sure that no one can get entangled or
stumble over it in order to avoid that the appliance is pulled down accidentally.
• Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces, sharp edges and mechanical
forces. Check the power cord regularly for damage and deteriorations.
Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of an electric shock.
• Do not misuse the power cord for unplugging the appliance! Only pull on
the power plug, not on the power cord!
• Never immerse the appliance, the power plug and the connection cord into
water for cleaning.
• Do not store or use the appliance outside or in wet rooms.
