2 Installation MT iQ Basic
For the installation, please
remove all cables from
the pole terminal of your
battery's positive post.
Now pass these cables
through the opening in
the current sensor of the
battery computer. Mount
it exactly as shown in the
picture on the right. Alter-
natively, the current sensor
also can be installed in
the negative terminal of
the battery, to do so turn
sensor accordingly.
Subsequently reconnect all cables to the pole terminal.
All incoming or outgoing lines from the battery

post must be routed through the sensor. This
also applies if several on-board batteries are
connected in parallel. Always pass all wires
through the sensor. Under certain circums-
tances, it is helpful to connect the various
cables to a support point and to go with a
common cable of suitable cross-section
through the sensor to the battery pole.
